What does TAA Compliance mean?

TAA stands for the U.S. Trade Agreement Act, which requires a product or service to be made or be ‘substantially transformed’ in a designated country to be acquired by the federal government. There are three different categories of TAA-compliant products:

Domestic end products

Entirely made in the U.S.

Designated end products

Made in a country that has a trade agreement with the U.S.

Foreign end products

Made outside the U.S. & does not meet the requirements for designated country-end products.
