What makes a good meeting room?

In the last couple of years, working from home has been normalised across the globe. At first, an unusual situation obligated us to work remotely, but the benefits this brought made companies keep hybrid positions as an option. The pursuit of smooth workflows and clear communication is fundamental for a healthy and collaborative work environment.

When hosting a meeting, there are only a few things that matter regardless of the size or location of your team. A quiet environment is crucial to increase productivity, and a stable network ensures the meeting runs smoothly. Today’s meeting rooms have been transformed into modern spaces that provide all the necessary tools to collaborate and interact without interruptions.

This ecosystem should integrate the right equipment to enhance productivity. Maxhub’s conferencing and meeting solutions offer a series of up-to-date devices exclusively designed to achieve this. Some of our top picks include:

Interactive flat panels:

Interactive screens are a modern solution for meeting rooms if you need an all-in-one product that allows teams to participate from anywhere. The V6 ViewPro series integrates the functions of a projector, whiteboard, microphone and other audio to let attendants brainstorm and collaborate on projects in real-time.

LED display:

LED displays are trusted devices because of their versatility. Maxhub’s Raptor series has taken this product to the next level by giving it an ultra-thin design and integrating a studio-quality speaker with an advanced operating system.

Unified communication

One of the main issues in a conference call can be poor audio quality making it difficult for clear communication. Maxhub UC S07 integrates an 8-metre voice pick-up range designed for small and medium-sized rooms. With this technology, everyone can hear and be heard.

Accessories

Accessories can be a great solution to upgrade your meeting room. Maxhub wireless screen-sharing dongle WT13 offers benefits that include multi-screen sharing, NFC, 5’’ pairing, multi-device connectivity and more. One of the best features of this portable tool is that it doesn’t require installation.

To summarise, no matter the size of your team or if they work remotely, having an adequate environment for your meetings will help your organisation tackle all challenges. No one likes a flaky connection while discussing ideas. Worse, wasting the first 15 minutes trying to share screens and updating software.

LED Screens: Everything you need to know about them

LED Screens: Everything you need to know about them

When it comes to LED screens, the market is flooded with options. All industries have found the visual impact of LED screens an effective way to display and advertise their services. Not only are they user-friendly, but suitable for a wide range of applications in different industries.

Among their attributes, energy efficiency is key due to lower consumption than traditional screens. The brightness and the image quality offered are a plus that makes LED the right choice for outdoor advertising, conferences and more.

CETS Green Space

That’s why when we decided to renovate the green space in our West End Studio, a custom LED Display to showcase our post-production team’s creative projects was the right choice. We were looking for:

  • A seamless and versatile design
  • A high-definition 1.2 mm to 1.8-pixel pitch
  • A 6.4 mm x 3.8 mm customised screen
  • Wireless and LAN screen sharing
  • Lightweight and compact structure
  • Low power consumption

The outcome exceeded our expectations, proving once again why LED screens are excellent resources to leverage any project. Here below we’ve listed what we consider to be some of  the best displays on the market:

QSTECH: Intelligent Portable LED Display & Poster

QSTECH LED screens are made to be installed in three different modes:  foot, hanging and wall mounting. Not only you can control them remotely through any smart device but are simple to set up using a network cable, WiFi connection or USB.

Additionally, the screen’s configuration guarantees brightness and chroma uniformity as the calibration has been one pixel to pixel (1.9mm or 2.5mm). Thanks to its pre-assembled structure and size (610 x1715 mm), you can adapt them to a wide range of spaces. The product has also been designed to be stacked up to a maximum of six LED screens for larger displays.

Tourism and Events QLD recently took delivery of their 6-screens mobile showcase and put them to work on the floor of the Victorian Caravan Camping & Touring Supershow 2023 as an integral component of their Drive Holidays display. As a result, the LED screen made an immediate impact at the show, earning TEQ the ‘Best Stand’ award in the Tourism category. You can read the full article here
