The Makito X1 Rugged shares many of the same H.264 and HEVC encoding features as the Makito X4. The Makito X1 Rugged is fanless making it ideal for situations that require silent operations. Designed for military and harsh environments, the Makito X1 Rugged is also highly robust and portable. For 4K UHD video and multi-camera workflows, the Makito X4 Encoder is the best option. Both encoders share a similar GUI, can interoperate with Makito X decoders and be paired with EMS, the Haivision Element Management system.
